My name is Carol Grunewald and I’m running for re-election on Nov. 3 to continue to represent you on our local Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC).

My husband and I have lived in Chevy Chase DC since 1992, having moved here from Dupont Circle. Originally from coastal New England, I have a background in journalism and advocacy/activism on behalf of animals and the environment. I also have an abiding interest in community and what makes great neighborhoods.

I have a B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.

I love Chevy Chase. I am deeply invested in this neighborhood and its future. I want my neighbors and our community to thrive, and will continue to work hard toward that goal.
